Geoffrey

A couple of months ago I went with my cousin Geoffrey to the fabric store (it was probably the first time he had been there in years if ever). But, we had fun and this is the square he chose. It is appropriate because he just got his helicopter pilot's license!

I am so proud of Geoffrey and glad I've had him as a pal all these years!

This scrapbook page came from my friend Amy Lowe and her family. I have had a lot of fun with Amy this year being in the Relief Society Presidency with her. We have also both been going to our RS sewing group and have worked on a lot of fun sewing projects. Those sewing projects have been good practice leading up to sewing this big quilt. She gave me those two fabric squares with little bugs on them. She also gave me a lot of lady bug fabric which I am going to use as the border on the quilt. Awesome!

My friend Heather, who I've known since I was five, gave me 5 fabric squares. The teddy bear squares are from the bedding she made for her first little one. She also sent a Cars, Inc. square and a cute white one with hot pink and red butterflies and a pink one with little white butterflies. So cute! Heather is a wonderful mom, I hope I'm like her when I grow up :)

Mama

Mama is my Grandma. She is my dad's mom. She is pretty awesome. She is a party animal. If there is any dancing going on she is definitely out there too. I'm so grateful for her support and excitement for this adoption.

We are adopting a Baby Girl!

We are so excited! Our birth mom found us in May and contacted us again in July. After exchanging emails for several days she said she would like to move forward with us. Our counselors have spoken and it has been official for about a month now. Our birth mom updates us after each doctor's appointment. Our little girl is due Nov. 8th. We can't wait to meet her! We are enjoying preparing our home for our baby. We've been lucky finding some good deals on clothes and a few other baby things. Some of our friends have also given us clothes and baby gear.

It is amazing and humbling to be in the adoption process.
